public interface HmacSignature

Utility class to handle generating HMAC signatures in REST requests. A signature should be created by concatenating information on a request, then signing with a shared SecretKey.

InputStream filterInput(InputStream stream)

Parameters:

stream - an InputStream which data should pass through signature calculation

Returns:

a wrapped stream to be used instead of the original stream

filterOutput

OutputStream filterOutput(OutputStream stream)

Parameters:

stream - an OutputStream which data should pass through signature calculation

Returns:

a wrapped stream to be used instead of the original stream

generateSignature

String generateSignature()

Returns:

compute the signature string

getUserId

String getUserId()

Returns:

the user ID attached to the signature
